Are you ready for Life in The Fast Lane? The news hit, this week, that Superman and Lois will have to be put on hold, after episode 5. That bloody awful virus. It’s even messing with the Man of Steel! But fear not, for we have a tribute to Lois Lane, recently depicted by the wonderful Elizabeth Tulloch. Her depiction inspired this week’s poem. In many ways she’s the true power behind Superman!
Life in The Fast Lane
When Lois Lane sniffs stories out
her instinct never is in doubt
She always finds the truth that’s there,
to show what’s right, and all that’s fair
Her maverick methods mean that she
stares death in the face, frequently
Then Lois calls out “Superman,
things haven’t quite gone to my plan”
But very soon again she goes
right to the source – where trouble flows
With no regard for safety first,
through danger’s doors she’ll always burst
This Reporter, criminal’s bane;
her best life’s lived in the fast Lane!
Previously, we brought you Superman’s Day Off. But May The Verse Be With You felt it was time for the super reporter herself to get her very own piece, right here! If you haven’t already, you can catch up with the reviews of double pilot episode, and this week’s episode. It’s always great to see a new incarnation of much loved characters. Especially these two! Stay safe readers, and stay super!
