Arlene Martel, who is best remembered to ‘Star Trek’ fans for her role as T’Pring from the classic episode ‘Amok Time’ passed away this week. She was 78.

The actress was a much loved guest at ‘Star Trek’ conventions both across America and internationally. And would often engage in fun banter with other guests at the conventions.

Her last appearance in ‘Star Trek’ was in the ‘Star Trek Of Gods and Men’ in which she played the Vulcan Priestess.

Martel enjoyed many television appearances in many series, which are now regarded as iconic.

She enjoyed guest roles in ‘Six Million Dollar Man’, ‘Columbo’, ‘Battlestar Galactica (1978)’  and ‘Mission Impossible’ to name only a few of the cult television shows that she graced.
