The gorgeous British actress Thandie Newton has scored herself the role of Wild West Brothel Madam in HBO’s television adaptation of ‘Westworld’.
The actress who has shown great versatility for both drama and comedy is the latest edition to the cast of HBO’s new science fiction pilot, which is based on the cult 1973 movie.
She will play Maeve Millay, a beautiful and razor-sharp madame whose seen-it-all-before worldview is about to be truly challenged.
Coincidentally, Newton’s casting comes just days after DirecTV renewed ‘Rogue’ for two more seasons. If ‘Westworld’ gets ordered to series, the actress will somehow have to juggle both shows.
Newton joins a cast, which included Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright.
