In the MCU Wakanda is certainly the world superpower. At least on the surface of things, that is . . . The biggest film of the moment is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. You can read our review of the movie. It’s very much the super-state itself that is at the centre of things, in the story. So, we felt we’d celebrate the awesome nation of Wakanda . . .
World Superpower
Wakanda, nation hidden out of sight,
because the world around is so much less
and seemingly destined to only fight
each other and so never make progress . . .
But the time came to show the world their ways,
when they were needed most to help bring peace
and help to make for more prosperous days
so that hopefully all wars would soon cease
Then came demands to share vibranium
but the reply was that they never would
if shared they feared destruction could come
it must only ever be used for good
A brand-new threat arrived, so came the call
for the Black Panther to protect them all!

Sadly, the great world superpower has lost its King, T’Chala (Chadwick Boseman). Of course, the whole of marvel fandom mourns the late actor, too. We paid tribute to him in our obituary.
