The elves from J.R.R Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series certainly have the wisdom of ages . . . So, we’ve used the concept of that this week for a poem about Lady Galadriel. The iconic character is currently being played by Morfydd Clark, who’s doing a truly fine job! You can read all of SciFiPulse’s reviews of the Rings of Power series . . .
Wisdom of Ages
There’s much pain to
living so long,
hearing words from
many a song . . .
For her time’s tune
marches so slow,
wisdoms in her
from long ago
Her fate brings joy
but heartache too,
she’s caught between
the old and new
How does she know
to laugh or cry
as ages all
just pass on by?
A life of both
heaven and hell,
lived by lady
Galadriel . . .

Previously, we published ‘Gandalf’s Song’, some time ago now. So, we thought it was about time that we celebrate more of the world of Tolkien. Wisdom of Ages isn’t late, it has arrived exactly when it was supposed to! The new series will again bring the wonderful world of Tolkien to a whole new generation! See you all next week readers!
