Synopsis: A shower of toxic rain forces John and Pawter into the tunnels under old town where they are forced to work with a dangerous criminal.

Review: Following on from events in last weeks show. D’Avin and Dutch have developed some pretty big trust issues between them and in an attempt to try and fix things. John has set them up and stranded them in orbit of the planet in the hopes that they will do the one thing that they both hate. Talk to each other.

Meanwhile while all of this is taking place John is trapped in the bar with Doctor Pawter Simms who is strugging to hold things together because of her addiction to a drug. This becomes somewhat of an issue when she has to operate on a wounded criminal from a gang, which has taken over the bar and is holding everyone hostage.

This episode is really a two header, which deals with the relationships that the team have with each other and includes some really good acting from Hannah John-Kamen and Luke Macfarlane who really get under the skin of their characters.

We also get some insightful character development with Pewter Sims who has been a recurring character over the last few weeks and has an interesting past in which she has been a far from perfect Doctor.  But her new position on Westerly seems to be playing out as her shot at redemption.

While not as action packed as last week’s show. This episode more than makes up for its lack of action with some really great character beats.
