Lex Luthor – smooth criminal! To help celebrate the return of CW’s Superman and Lois, May The Verse Be With You thought we’d go with a thematic offering, this week. So, time to focus on Superman’s arch enemy. Furthermore, a very specific aspect of good old Lex Luthor! Whilst the current Lex, Wole Parks, didn’t solely inspire this poem, SciFiPulse does think that he’s truly awesome in the role.
Smooth Criminal . . .
Beneath that silk smooth head
a mega brain,
designing plots of dread,
purely insane
Opposing Superman
through outthinking
him, with a crafty plan,
full of cunning
Maybe his hairless form
helps his thoughts breed
and makes ideas swarm
at super-speed
To help him win the fight
his baldy crown
dreams schemes of kryptonite
to bring Supes down
The Man of Steel’s face
screams out – beware –
of Lex’s power base:
his lack of hair!
Previously, we’ve published Superman’s Day Off and Life in the Fast Lane. The Man of Steel also featured recently, in our review of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. In that, Superman depicted by Henry Cavill had his moustache digitally removed by CGI! that was the topic of the very silly, but fun Super Tache. Fun is truly what we’re all about, to give you, valued readers, an extra boost each Friday.
