It’s that time of year once again, and while so many adults will be dressing (and more even undressing) out of sexy pirate costumes, naughty maid’s outfits, and wild witch get-ups, the girls of Rick’s New York (well-versed in undressing as they are) have made their yearly list of their top five favorite horror movie franchises.
“It makes me crazy, but I can’t get enough of those horrible puzzles that Jigsaw puts his victim into in those Saw movies,” Rick’s dancer Natalia says about the movie franchise that just saw the release of its latest, Saw X.
“Michael Myers gives me chills!” dancer Tanya says with a shiver, calling up the main character of the score of Halloween movies that began way back in 1978.
“Is it silly to say that I scream over Scream?!” Miranda offers as she gets ready for another turn around the pole.
“Don’t tell anybody, ok? But I think Freddy Krueger is sexy,” dancer Kelly admits. “I think about those sharp metallic fingers tickling up and down my body. Oh, man!”
“My mom turned me on to classic stuff, like the Wolfman, The Mummy, and Dracula…who I always thought was so hot, going around biting necks and all,” Rick’s girl Vanessa says. “I know those movies are old school, but man, they are scary.”
For All Hallow’s Rick’s is once again celebrating with their annual Halloween Party, starting October 24th and running to Halloween eve, featuring drink specials and an entertainer costume contest on the 31st. Even Freddy Kruger or Michael Myers would stop their terrible deeds for the night if they wandered into the mid-Manhattan location of the tri-level Rick’s for this good time!
Rick’s Cabaret New York is located @ 50 West 33rd Street, one block from Madison Square Garden, in New York City.
