The Most Exciting Comic and Sci-Fi Event in SW Florida Blasts off this summer!
SWFL SpaceCon is a celebration of all aspects of Comic Book and Science-Fiction culture with a common thread uniting all fans. It’s the ultimate destination to bring together fandom and celebrities from the world of Sci-Fi, Comics, Gaming, Cosplay and Anime for 2 action-packed days.
Thousands of fans are expected to attend the 2nd annual SWFL SpaceCon, creating a nexus for Fans, Exhibitors, Artists, and Stars alike to come together under one roof. The fun begins this June 16 and 17, 2018 at the Lee Civic Center in North Fort Myers, FL. This years annual event features legendary headliner Marina Sirtis, of Star Trek: TNG, Counsellor Deanna Troi. Other featured guests include Voice Actors Quinton Flynn (Kingdom Hearts) & Kevin M Connolly (Full Metal Alchemist), Power Rangers Michael Copon & John Loudermilk, Comicbook Guests Alex Saviuk (Spiderman), Drew Geraci (Green Lantern Corp) & more guests from the comic book, film & book industries & professional cosplay guests! Both days will be overflowing with vendors, game demos, drop-in gaming, game tournaments, photo ops, autograph ops, panels, costume contests and non-stop entertainment.
Taking inspiration from the quote, “I have a dream; a dream that all people — human, Jem’Hadar, Ferengi, Cardassians — will someday stand together in peace… around my Dabo tables” (Quark, DS9), organizers are thrilled to have created such a unique event to unite the Sci-Fi, Comic and Gaming community of Southwest Florida, with a safe, fun-filled experience for everyone of any species or planetary origin.
SWFL SpaceCon is a Nexus9 LLC event dedicated to furthering the fandom of Science-Fiction, Comics and Gaming in the South West Florida area since 2016.
