Sky One Picks Up ‘The Flash’

The superhero drama - debuting in the US in October - stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, the fastest man alive.

They’re not quite as fast as a speeding bullet or even ‘The Flash,’ but it seems that Sky One has taken the logical step of picking up the UK broadcast rights for the new ‘Flash’ television series to fit in with ‘Arrow,’ which Sky have been airing for the past two years.

The superhero drama – debuting in the US in October – stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, the fastest man alive.

At present the cable and satellite channel have not revealed exactly when they will air the series, but I and many other fans would love for it to be paired up with ‘Arrow’ given that the shows have already crossed over.

Further crossovers between the two series are planned, with Arrow star Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) making a cameo in the Flash pilot.
