New ‘Doctor Who’ Companion Will Shift The Tone Of The Series

Steven Moffat and Peter Capaldi share some hints about the new Companion

As we all know. Clara Oswald’s days on ‘Doctor Who’ are numbered and with only a few episodes left to go before the end of the current series. The talk is now moving towards asking who the new companion will be and how will he or she contribute to the series as it moves forward.

These questions have not been lost on show-runner Steven Moffat and the series star Peter Capaldi who both gave some thoughts about the new companion in a brief video interview for Digital Spy.

 Moffat revealed the the new companion who is yet nameless will represent a new shift in changing the tone of the series. He also said that meetings are already happening with the BBC to discuss the matter.
