The mystery voice of the narrator from the recent release of the epic ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ trailer has been revealed.
Apparently the narrator will have a bigger role in the movie and is not just there for the purpose of the trailer.
Max von Sydow, Adam Driver and Benedict Cumberbatch have all been linked with the role of narrator on the recent teaser.
It turns out that the voice of the narrator belongs to none other than Andy Serkis who of course is better known for his various roles of Golum in ‘Lord Of The Rings’ and Caesar in the recent rebooted ‘Planet of The Apes’ movies.
The revelation was made by none other than HitFix writer Drew McWeeny.
“For the record, that is Andy Serkis you hear in the trailer,” McWeeny writes. “I was able to verify this, although I was not able to uncover any further information about the role he plays.
“Here’s what I do know, though. He’s playing a pivotal role in the film, although he will not have a lot of screen time.”
Serkis was confirmed as a cast member of the film when cast announcements were made earlier this year, but it remains unknown in regards to the role he is playing and how it relates to the story.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18, 2015.
