Moon Knight

Fans of Marvel character Moon Knight will be very excited, this week. The first teaser trailer is set to drop. It will air on Monday night (or knight!!) during the NFL super wildcard match up game. Whilst the series debut isn’t yet known, we do it will air this year, likely quite soon. Oscar Isaac will play the title character, Marc Spector/Moon Knight. Furthermore, this will continue Phase Four of the MCU, the first phase to incorporate streaming shows, not just films. What we know is that the series will co-star May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke. But a special very cool seemingly mystical event will certainly add to the excitement and build up of the trailer dropping . . .

Moon Magic

We Got This Covered reported something truly awesome, early Monday morning (17.01.2022):

In what is either a master marketing stroke or a wild coincidence, that day – January 17 – will also mark the next occurrence of a full moon, as noted by Space.com. To be precise, the moon will be fully illuminated at 6:48 p.m. EST. However, it will appear full to the average moon-watcher before and after that moment.

Wow, so cool! The only thing that could really top things is if the actual Moon Knight showed up! There’s probably not much chance, but with the moon turning up to welcome the event, you just never know. In the same news feature, We Got This Covered  also highlighted more exciting news, too, about a very important aspect of the show! They reminded us about the show’s head writer . . .

Head Writer

Jeremy Slater, who has proved he has series writing skills in The Umbrella Academy, will be head writer of Moon Knight. That news alone should not only build further excitement, but let fans know they’re in safe hands, too. You can read our feature about what worked so well in Umbrella Academy Season Two, to put you at ease about his credentials. It’s always a good sign to see humility, when a big writer gets the job. That’s exactly what came across in Jeremy Slater’s tweet, following him officially joining the MCU.

SciFiPulse will bring you more news and features about Moon Knight during 2022 as the debut gets closer., which we can’t wait for!
