“Uncaged” celebrates the genius of the much-loved Nicholas Cage. His new movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, is out now. Look out soon for the official SciFiPulse review of the movie. In this poem, we’ve tried to capture his most iconic onscreen appearances. He’s made so many films, we just can’t get them all in. So, apologies if we’ve missedyour favourite Cage movie moment.
Uncaged
There is no one quite like Nicholas Cage
When he’s acting, the whole screen is his stage
He left Las Vegas, and took life’s full stock,
then turned heroic for films like The Rock
To watch him be comedic is pure bliss
No greater fun than in Vampire’s Kiss!
In Face Off he became someone brand new;
is there nothing that the man cannot do?
There was no way that he could be too slow —
Gone in 60 Seconds to save his bro!
In Pig once more he showed his acting chops;
no doubt, performance-wise, he came out tops
Only himself could leave this God upstaged;
we may see it wathcing Nick Cage uncaged!

Nicholas Cage isn’t really associated with sci-fi or fantasy, per say (although he did play Ghost Rider!. But he’s Nicholas Cage, an absolute legend that deserves his place in the aerchives of May The Verse Be With You. There’s absolutely no doubt that he was a huge part of nineties pop culture. He’s also a huge Superman fan, too! Thanks for reading, and we’ll see you next Friday for more fun!
