‘Safe as Holmes’ celebrates the wonderful Enola Holmes. Last week, Millie Bobby Brown returned as the young detective. You can read our review of Enola Holmes 2, to see what we thought of the latest adventure of the character. The film has been a big hit and is still very high on the Netflix top ten list. So, she cracked that case then!
Satan’s Son
Enola Holmes,
determined soul,
won’t give up once
she’s set her goal
She so resents
Sherlock’s shadow
and wants all of
the world to know . . .
Though she is young
her skills are vast,
a super-brain
that’s lightning fast
An ambition
to work each case
so that the world’s
a better place
And so, the folk
know where she roams
will always be
as safe as Holmes!

A while ago May The Verse Be With You published ‘Afoot”, a dedication to Enola’s big brother Sherlock. But we felt that Enolas deserved a dedication all of her own. She’s a wonderful edition to the Holmes family. She might even foster interest from younger viewers in the original stories. We think she’ll be back . . . See you all next week readers!
