Super-Man, or Man Super? It seems the latter . . . As well as playing Superman and Clark Kent, Tyler Hoechlin is also currently playing Bizzaro. You can read about our thoughts on the character in our latest episode review of Superman and Lois. The character has a rich history. Bizzaro has appeared in print and onscreen many times over the years, and as such we felt that he deserved a dedicted poem. .

Man Super

Man-Super is he,

(breathe flames he can);

mirror identity

of Superman . . .

Shunned by society

Bizarro raged,

and as each as enemy

the two engaged

The two Kryptonic Gods,

evenly matched;

whilst so often at odds,

their souls are latched

Not really villainous,

more monster, made;

his presence, ominous,

leaves all afraid . . .

Killing Bizzaro needs

blue kryptonite;

green kryptonite just feeds

his strength and might!

For those who don’t know, Bizzaro is a sort of opposite of Superman. More precisely, he’s a “reverse” of the Man of Steel. For example, Bizzaro can only see through lead. The poem has tried to capture aspects of Bizzaro. Perhaps the most interesting thing about him is that he’s not really a baddy. Certainly, he’s not an out and out bad guy! Take care dear readers, and do have a truly wondeful week!
