It’s been over a month since Cobra Kai Season 3 ended. Our extensive review of Cobra Kai Season 3 assessed proceedings. We also spoke about the characterization of Jonny Lawrence (William Zabka). This week’s poem takes that one step further, and immortalizes aspects of Jonny’s character. We love the it, and SciFiPulse thinks it’s one of the hottest properties around. Roll on Season Four . . .
Cobra Kai Never Dies
Daniel Larusso’s not as cool;
although he tries
he just can’t get the rule:
Cobra Kai never dies
For Jonny it’s a way of life,
there’s no disguise
Deadly sharp, as a knife
Cobra Kai never dies
A real 1980’s dude
he never cries
His life’s his attitude —
Cobra Kai never dies
School of hard knocks, from Sensei Kreese
No ifs, no buts, no whys . . .
He’s made for war, not peace,
Cobra Kai never dies
He breathes it, it runs through his blood
No one denies
what’s clearly understood:
Cobra Kai never dies!
Bringing back Jonny Lawrence was a fantastic idea. It’s great to see how those of us who remember the world “pre-internet” are doing. We’d love to see Jonny give Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) a good butt-kicking. There’s one really cool way we could see that . . . All will be revealed next week, in a fun feature coming exclusively to SciFiPulse. So, watch out for it. Take care, see and you next week!
