Synopsis: Things go from bad to worse as the Titans are falsely blamed for poisoning the cities water. Which forces them into a perilous position as they work to regain Gotham’s trust.
The Story
Having poisoned the cities water Crane and Jason Todd head to a safe place, but not before Crane sends out a video message, which blames the Titans for poisoning the city. Meanwhile, Dick Grayson tells Barbara Gordon that he and the Titans will turn themselves in to post bail and make a discrete getaway. Elsewhere, Donna Troy is looking to re-enter Gotham and lend a helping hand. However, she will have to pass a few initiation tests first.
The Acting
Conor Leslie makes a triumphant return as Donna Troy who looks to help make a difference. Her scenes with Lydia being somewhat of an important test for her character.
Additionally, we also get some good scenes between Brenton Thwaites and Savannah Welch as Dick and Barbara try to come up with a way of protecting the city. This ultimately means that the Titans either have to disappear or hand themselves over to the mercy of the law. Neither option really being the ideal solution to the hole that they have been placed in by Crane.
We also get a strong performance from Curran Walters as Jason Todd finds himself enthralled by Crane’s manipulation.
Overall
This is pretty much the episode that is setting up for the big finale, which will hit in a few weeks. With only three episodes left to go. The writers are now moving the various pieces of the puzzle into place. This is why we see a return for both Raven and Donna Troy in the episode. And just in the nick of time too given that the Titans have been forced into hiding.
Stay tuned folks. Because things are going to get really interesting as this third series begins to wrap up.
