Synopsis: In Into The Breach, The Batch prepares for a gambit in enemy territory. Meanwhile, Omega makes her plans.

The Story

Picking up from where last week left off. Omega has been captured by the Empire and taken back to Tantis where she has been placed in a facility with Force Sensitive children. Omega wastes little time in getting to know the other children and begins to plan her escape. Meanwhile, Doctor Scalder is concerned about Omega being in the mix with the other children and taking them to Dr. Karr who is quite dismissive of her.

Elswhere, The Batch along with Rampart figure out a way for them to get to Tantis so they can launch their own rescue of Omega, but their plans will mean that they have to make their way to  Coruscant space and steal some codes to enable them to get to the Tantis base.

Voice Acting

Into The Breach brings us some solid voice performance as the show’s story arc gradually builds things up toward the series finale, which is only two weeks away. Dee Bradley Baker continues to be fantastic in his various roles and continues to amaze with his amazing vocal range. Helen Sadler performs well as Dr. Scalder and manages to bring an air of authority to her role. Michelle Ang shines as Omega as we see her build friendships with the force-sensitive kids that she’s been imprisoned with.

Overall

Overall a solid episode that leaves things on a dramatic cliffhanger that will keep fans talking until we see it get resolved next week. The scenes between The Bad Batch and Rampart provide a nice balance of drama and comedy as the group puts their daring plan into action. Also, enjoyable is watching Omega lay out her plan to the force-sensitive kids who she is Imprisoned with.
