Synopsis: The ANTI-MONITOR attacks the remaining Earths and their inhabitants. Heroes and villains across time and space join the Justice League for a final stand against the epitome of evil.

The Story

Having killed the version of the Monitor that saved her life in the last part of this movie series. Supergirl is wracked with guilt and not being of much help to the remaining heroes and villains that are trying to save the multiverse. However, an after effect of the Monitors death has allowed the Heroes to find a small sanctuary of safety inside a pocket universe that has opened up within what remains of the multiverse, but when the Anti Monitor figures out how to breach this pocket in space-time it becomes a race against time to save whatever Earth they can or seek out an alternative means of at least keeping those that they can.

As events unfold we learn that John Constantine is the one responsible for setting events in motion that gave birth to the Anti-Monitor and with that big reveal comes several methods in which they can defeat the seemingly unstoppable force that is driven to destroy the multiverse.

The Acting

Jensen Ackles continues to impress as Batman but isn’t quite at the same levels of gruffness than the late Kevin Conroy was in the role. That said, he has quite a large amount of the narrative in this third and final part and maintains a solid performance throughout. Speaking of which, the late Kevin Conroy gets to impress one last time in his role of the Earth 12 version of Batman and we even get a nice little tribute message for this extraordinary vocal talent at the end of the movie.

Keith Ferguson is great as Dr. Fate who has a key role in this film when he and Batman find out about Constantine after Batman remembers meeting the older version of Barry Allen’s Flash when a trauma jogs his memory.

Overall

This third part of the series gives us a strong finish to the story in which our Superheroes are given an impossible choice. Overall, much stronger than part 2 was.
