After what seems to have been a literal blink of an eye. The producers of ‘Gotham’ have found a new actress to take on the role of Poison Ivy.
Maggie Geha will take over the role from Clare Foley at the start of the shows third series, which will premier this fall.
It was revealed recently that Poison Ivy who is the shows ecological terrorist will become a regular character when the third season gets underway.
Season three of ‘Gotham’ will see the Ivy Pepper finding herself reborn following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill and one step closer to the DC villain she is destined to become: Poison Ivy. Now a 19-year-old woman who has harnessed the full power of her charms, she sets her sights on Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).
The role of Poison Ivy was aged up for the third season, which meant the departure of 14 year old Foley.
Geha, an actress-model from Vermont, has appeared in features ‘Ted 2′, ‘The Rewrite’ and ‘indie In Stereo#. She next appears in ‘The Harrow’.
Gotham returns Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
