Since the movie hit a couple of months ago speculation has been rife with regards to whether or not there will be a second ‘Deadpool’ movie.
We can now once again breath easy because Fox have confirmed that there will be a second movie, which will bring Ryan Reynolds back as the much loved off beat ‘Deadpool’ and reunite the original cast and crew from the first film.
Fox made the announcement at the recent CinemaCon with some news about the future of its Marvel franchise. The studio officially announced that Ryan Reynolds would re-team with director Tim Miller and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for ‘Deadpool 2′ – a no-brainer, given the film’s grosses (more than $757 million worldwide).
We here at scifipulse.net are thrilled about this news having pretty much all been in agreement that ‘Deadpool’ was a much needed game changer for the superhero film genre.
