UK Broadcaster Channel 5 have been pushing ‘Gotham’ for the last couple of weeks via an ad campaign that has been without a date.

The broadcaster has now revealed that they will be showing the Batman prequel series on October 13 at 9PM, which is a much better time slot that was given to ‘Once Upon A Time,’ which the UK terrestrial channel cancelled earlier in the year due to poor ratings.

Gotham focuses on the early career of Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and will also explore the origins of iconic Batman characters such as Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and Catwoman (Camren Bicondova).

‘Gotham’ premiered in the USA in late September and has been applauded by the critics.
