Actress Andrea Risebourough is to play the role of the villainous Top Dollar in the pending remake of 'The Crow'.

Actress Andrea Risebourough is to play the role of the villainous Top Dollar in the pending remake of ‘The Crow’.

The role was played by Michael Wincott in the 1994 film, but the character will be rewritten as a woman in the updated version.

Risebourough will star alongside Jack Huston, who recently replaced Luke Evans as the heroic Eric Draven.
Corin Hardy is set to direct the film, which focuses on a murdered rock star who returns to life via supernatural means to exact revenge on those her killed him.
The remake will be adapted directly from the graphic novel rather than the 1994 cult film, which starred Brandon Lee.
