UK fans of Marvels ‘Agent Carter’ will be thrilled to learn that they will not have to wait six months for the UK broadcast of the series when it returns for its second season.

Fox who air the show in the UK have revealed that they will be showing the new series soon after the American transmission.

This is great news given that UK fans had to wait nearly six months for the first series of the show, which concluded its 8 episode run a couple of weeks back.

Starring Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Agent Carter has been a hit for the channel with a consolidated audience of 900,000 viewers each week.

Marvel’s Agent Carter was a ratings smash for FOX UK, with a million people tuning in to Peggy Carter’s adventures on launch,” said FOX International Channels UK managing director Jeff Ford.

“We’re thrilled to bring the season two premiere to UK fans, and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the feisty and fearless heroine.”

The second season of the show moves the action to Los Angeles and picks up the action a year after events, which we witnessed in the first series.

James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), Enver Gjokaj (Daniel Sousa) and Chad Michael Murray (Jack Thompson) will also reprise their roles.
