Thor Ragnarok casting announcements

Fan favorite Karl Urban will play the Executioner, with Tessa Thompson as the Valkyrie and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster.

Marvel Studios has recently made some fun casting announcements for the upcoming ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ which is scheduled to set the stage for the unraveling of the Galaxy on November 3rd, 2017.

It seems that fan favorite Karl Urban has in fact been cast as the Executioner, with Jeff Goldblum playing the Grandmaster, Cate Blanchett portraying Hela and the very cool casting of Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.

It looks like Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk could also be making an appearance in Ragnarok,’ which is something that will please fans who have been missing the character. Head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has the this to say about the film.

The continuation of the epic Thor franchise will be powerful and unique and with the additions of Cate, Jeff, Tessa, Karl, and Mark to the cast we have the makings of his most dangerous and heroic adventure yet. The sheer, raw talent each of these actors brings to the screen can’t be quantified. Having any one of them join the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be an honor, and having all of them is incredible.”

Sounds simply amazing and can’t wait!
