He’s back and looks a lot different from when we last saw him as the T-800 in ‘Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines’.
Yesterday the first official trailer for ‘Terminator: Genisys’ was released and shown us an older looking Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role that arguably catapulted him to stardom in the 1980s.
This new film, which will essentially reboot the Terminator movie franchise also boasts a fresh faced cast of new stars, which include: Jason Clarke (John Connor) Emilia Clarke (Sarah Connor) and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. The film also has a role in it for former ‘Doctor Who’ star Matt Smith, who is going to be a character that will pop up in all three movies.
The new movie, will be a reboot, but will not entirely disregard the previous films. Much like the new ‘Star Trek’ films. This movie will be showing us a new alternate time line in order to retell the origin story of the war between humanity and the machines.
You can check out the trailer below. Please feel free to comment once you have. I’d be interested in reading your arguments for and against this reboot.
