As fans will already know. ‘Supernatural’ very got a spinoff series this year with the ill fated backdoor pilot ‘Supernatural: Bloodlines,’ which aired during the shows 9th season.
In a new interview with Digital Spy at last weekends Comic Con executive producer Jeremy Carver revealed that a spinoff is still very much a possibility for the hit series.
“Right now, we’re just looking at the whiteboard and deciding whether there’s something here that we can do,” Carver said backstage at Comic-Con last weekend.
“Last year, I think it’s fair to say that we went to the not-obvious version of a spinoff.
“There were reasons that we did that, but now we continue to kick it around and see whether there’s something more there.”
CW president Mark Pedowitz stated at the TCA Press Tour earlier this month that while Bloodlines “creatively did not get to where we wanted it”, the network is still enthusiastic about the prospect of a spinoff.
