Stan Lee has revealed that he will be once again playing himself in ‘Mallrats 2’ the sequel to the 1995 Kevin Smith movie ‘Mallrats’.
Lee made a fairly sizable cameo in the first movie when he gave Brodie (Jason Lee) some advice about women.
Speaking at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle, Lee said that his role would be bigger than a short cameo.
“Almost every day, I get invited to do a cameo in some movie or another that has nothing to do with Marvel,” said Lee (via CBR).”They just call me up [and say], ‘Hey, we’re doing a movie. Do you want to do a cameo?’ It’s kind of funny – I’ve become known as a cameo specialist.”
Lee is well known for making cameos in the Marvel films, but has also recently enjoyed small roles in Marvels television projects as well.
Smith announced in March that he is planning a sequel to ‘Mallrats.’
