From 9am UK time on Saturday 9th July 2016, Stacey, never one to back down from a challenge, is hoping to repeat her previous success, this time for the Alzheimer's Society.
Podcast Set to Return for a Second 24 Hours of Madcap Podcasting with Special Guests in aid of Alzheimer’s

Back in 2014, Stacey Taylor and her good friend Jenni Newman joined forces on the podcast Stacey’s Pop Culture Parlour in an attempt to podcast live for 24 hours for charity. After countless cups of tea, sugary treats, energy drinks, special guests and non stop banter they managed to raise over £1500 for their chosen charity -‐ Operation Smile.

“It takes a lot of time, effort and perseverance to organise such an event, but despite the stress and difficulties last time (I briefly forgot who my husband was when he returned from a festival shortly after I completed the last live show!), I knew I’d be doing it again in the future. ” said Stacey, who is at the heart of the event as the main host.

It was an event that was not only enjoyed by those listening in but those guests who gave up their time to take part in the fun.

“I enjoyed my time on Stacey’s 24 hour podcast so much, we decided to double it on the spot!” -‐ Jennie Gyllblad, Artist (Jenspiration, Clockwork Watch, Skal)

“It was wonderful, like having children. What little I did was enjoyable, but the ladies did all the hard work.” -‐ Adam Hughes, Artist (Wonder Woman, Superman/Batman, Justice League America, Fables, Star Wars)

Stacey explains why she had decided to come back for round two of the event.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than doing something you love, with people you enjoy spending time with, making new friends and chatting to people you admire, all whilst entertaining listeners and raising a boatload of cash for charity. The hard work is so worth it!”
