Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and the team behind ‘Sherlock’ have promised some proper Gothic horror for the festive season.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy pretty much the entire production team behind the series waxed lyrical about the Victorian adventure, which is a one off story in which Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman get to play Holmes and Watson in the natural setting for most of the Arthur Conan Doyle stories.
