San Diego was temporarily invaded by cast members from ‘Walking Dead’ for what is always one of the conventions most popular panels.
On this years panel were Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert & Greg Nicotero.
One character that got much interest was Negan who is played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. For his part Morgan kept quiet when quizzed about anything that was happening in the new season, but he did talk about the phenomenal welcome he has felt from ‘Walking Dead’ fans in general.
Andrew Lincoln said that fans have much to look forward to in the new series and that their loyalty will be paid off with perhaps the biggest showdown since the episode ‘Terminus’.
