This as been out for a few months now, but I missed it when it came out and given that I am such a big fan of all things ‘Flash Gordon’, with exception of the Syfy Series. I thought I’d share this.

Robb Pratt has been doing 2D animations of classic pulp adventure series on his youtube channel. The animation on these shorts is beautiful and Pratt’s take on Flash Gordon pays homage to the classic serials that starred Buster Crab as the iconic science fiction hero.

This animated short provides Eric Johnson with a chance at washing himself clean of the crappy Syfy Channel series and allows opportunity for him to voice Flash Gordon as he should be written and played.

John Newton of ‘Superboy’ fame provides the voice of Ming The Merciless in this short.
