Peter Capaldi talks Daleks return to ‘Doctor Who’

The Daleks were last featured in Smith's December 2013 swansong 'The Time of the Doctor'.

Next weekends episode of ‘Doctor Who’ will see the new Doctor going ‘Into The Dalek’ and in a recent interview Peter Capaldi talked about his excitement with regards to his first encounter with the timelords sworn enemy.

“I actually swore with delight,” Capaldi said of shooting his first scene opposite the Daleks.

The Daleks were last featured in Smith’s December 2013 swansong ‘The Time of the Doctor’. But the last time they had an entire story just centred around them was in season 7’s ‘Asylum of the Daleks,’ which introduced us to ‘The Impossible Girl.’

Capaldi and Coleman have both been coy about rumours that The Doctor’s companion Clara will be written out of the show before the end of the year.
