The brilliant Showtime horror series ‘Penny Dreadful’ has been given the thumbs-up for a third season.
The series, which gives us alternate versions of classic horror character from iconic stories such as ‘Dracula’, ‘Frankenstein’ and many others stars Eva Green, Timothy Dalton, Josh Hartnett and Billie Piper among others has proved to be a massive hit in the US as well as here in the UK where it airs on Sky Atlantic.
[“Writer and executive producer] John Logan’s brilliant writing and this amazingly talented ensemble continue to draw a passionate, global fan base into the meticulously crafted world of Penny Dreadful,” Showtime Networks Inc. president David Nevins said in a statement.
He continued: “Together with our wonderful partners at Sky Atlantic, we’re excited to see what new haunts John and his team have in store for Season 3.”
‘Penny Dreadful’ airs Sundays at 10/9c and will wrap its second season on July 5.
