Orlando Jones To Leave ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Orlando Jones departing 'Sleepy Hollow' after two seasons

Orlando Jones is to leave the fox series ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and will not be returning for the shows third season.

During the first two seasons of the series Jones has played Captain Irving, who was Abbie’s boss in the first season, but wound up in an asylum during a substantial part of the shows second series.

His exit comes as the ratings-challenged show undergoes a regime change: ‘The GladesClifton Campbell recently replaced Mark Goffman as showrunner.

During the first season Captain Irving proved a strong ally to Ichabod and Abbie in their fight to stave off the apocalypse, spent much of last season on the fringe of the action. He died during a fight, only to be resurrected and controlled by the evil Henry, though that control seemed to go poof after Henry’s own death.
