Norman Reedus appreciates and loves his fans!

The love and admiration of his fans seems to be so very much more important than stardom itself for The Walking Dead star.

While appearing at the most recent MegaCon in Orlando, Florida, Norman Reedus, best known for his portrayal of Daryl Dixon on the hit AMC zombie drama, The Walking dead, went above and beyond the call of duty with respect to his fans and I must say how impressed I am with this Mega small screen star!

Reedus could be seen spending some special time with his young fans at MegaCon in the pictures included in this article, just as he did with my son after bumping into the star in the lobby of the Rosen Centre Hotel. While I have no images, I can say that Norman Reedus took a moment to shake my son’s hand, ask his name and thank him for following and watching the show after my son ran up to him simply to say hello and let him know that he was a big fan of the show.

Likewise, another fan and MegaCon attendee let me know that while signing for a very large amount of fans on Saturday, there were several hundred fans who were unable to meet and/or get their autographs from Reeduss as he was scheduled to fly out on Saturday after the convention. It seems that the time allotted for The Walking Dead star to sign all of the photos and items pertaining to those who patiently waited hours in line, simply wasn’t enough.

Instead of simply signing the items outside of the presence of the fans who paid handsomely for Reedus’ autograph, and having them given to the fans some time on Sunday; or simply just getting on his flight and leaving, Reedus rescheduled his itinerary completely. The zombie slayer arranged it so he could fly out on Sunday later in the day, in order to  specifically meet with those fans who were unable to meet him early on Sunday morning. Reedus made it a point to meet with every single one of his fans and only then did he leave the convention, but not before making sure that his fans were given the love, respect and photos/signatures that they had waited in line so very patiently for!

Bravo Norman, and that is the difference it would seem between Norman Reedus and so many other celebrities who simply do not understand or do not care, that in some ways it is all about the love and admiration of the fans that is so very much more important than stardom itself. Thank you for making the fans a priority Mr. Reedus and thank you for also making my son feel as if you really appreciated him. You are absolute tops in my book!
