Anthony Daniels, who is best known to science fiction and genre fans as C3PO of ‘Star Wars’ fame has made the bold claim that the new 7th ‘Star Wars’ movie, which is directed by J.J. Abrams has the potential to best ‘The Empire Strikes Back,’ which remains the over all fan favorite from all the ‘Star Wars’ films.

The actor said that he thinks the new film may eclipse the popular Episode V.

Daniels will returns for the new Disney film alongside Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

Newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie will also feature in JJ Abrams’s movie.

Details have been kept under wraps on the film, which recently completed shooting.

Star Wars Episode VII will be released on December 18, 2015
