Yesterday Marvel released the official ‘Age Of Ultron’ poster, which sees the comic book heroes assembling one more time for battle.
The newly launched poster confirms reports that Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell and Idris Elba will all reprise their Marvel Universe characters.
Atell has been widely rumored to be reprising her Peggy Carter role for the movie. The poster also shows that we will see Elba back as Asgardian gatekeeper Heimdall and Mackie will return as Falcon.
Writer-director Joss Whedon’s sequel gathers the Marvel Universe’s top heroes to battle the malevolent artificial intelligence Ultron (James Spader).
‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ introduces Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen as the super-powered Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as well.
In a recent interview director Joss Whedon explained his reasoning behind creating a new origin story for Ultron as apposed sticking with the established comic book continuity, which heavily involved scientist and original Ant Man Hank Pym.
“Of all the heat I’ve ever taken, not having Hank Pym was one of the bigger things,” he admitted.
