New ‘Arrow’ Teaser Gives First Look At Laurel Lance As Black Canary

‘Arrow’ has returned in the USA and is only a matter of weeks away from returning to UK television via Sky One.

A new trailer has recently been released, which gives us a first look at Laurel Lance in her Black Canary costume.

As fans will know. The first half of the second season providing some of the vital building blocks for Laurel’s journey into becoming her little sisters successor as Black Canary. It was a journey, which saw her training with a trainer who Oliver Queen wasn’t entirely approving of.

 In his recent interviews about the series Marc Guggenheim said “It’s a pretty significant step in the life of the series,” when discussing Laurels story arc.

“The interesting thing about Laurel being a superhero is that she hasn’t had nearly as much training as everyone else who wears a mask on our show.”

The debut of the new Black Canary comes as part of two story-lines converging, as the crime boss Brick (Vinnie Jones) wreaks havoc on Starling City while Oliver Queen’s fate hangs in the balance following his battle with Ra’s al Ghul.
Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8pm on The CW. Sky 1 airs the series in the UK.
