‘Two Become One’ celebrates the release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021). Once more Tom Hardy plays the combined hero/anti-hero. As soon as SciFiPulse has seen the film, we’ll get our review posted. What we’ve gone for here is to try and capture the nature of symbiosis in a poem. Hopefully, we’ve done a decent job. And of course, we’ve tried to keep things fun and light, too . . . .

Two Become One

From far away

the comet cruised

until one day

two life-forms fused

They once were two,

but now they’re one:

a being, new,

with neither gone

It’s so scary,

what’s underneath:

monstrosity

with huge, white teeth . . .

But Eddie’s ways

are vital, too:

his spirit’s blaze;

a heart so true

Venom, less rage

Eddie made strong —

their fate’s next stage

a Spice Girls’ song!

Of course, what many fans really want to see is a live-action Spiderman Vs. Venom movie. However, that may never happen. But, with the multiverse soon to become a reality in the MCU, you just never know. Sony does own the rights to both characters. But for now, the spotlight is on everyone’s favorite symbiote. So, it was only right that we got around to paying tribute to the much-loved character . . .
