“Auld Bat Sign”. Your New Year’s Day special, from May The Verse Be With You. We did promise festive specials! Last week we had the Twelve Days of MCU Christmas. And earlier in December we had Cold as the Worf Pole. A tribute to our favourite Klingon, Worf (Michael Dorn). This week, for New Year’s Day, it’s our take on classic Auld Lang Syne. Ours features the one and only Bat Man!
Auld Bat Sign

Should Gotham’s bad guys be forgot,
not made to toe-the-line,
should Gotham’s bad guys be forgot,
but they won’t we’ve the Bat Sign!
We’ve the bat Sign, thank God
we’ve the Bat Sign,
they’ll get captured by Bat Man yet,

So, whilst busy smelling, losing a wheel on the Bat-mobile, and Robin’s annual egg-laying, the original Caped Crusader has also been doing his regular work. Fighting crime!
