The film Abominable (2019) certainly is mountains of fun! It might be one that readers of SciFiPulse may have missed, as it’s not a science-fiction film. It’s a fun, family adventure – mountains of fun, in fact. Chloe Bennet of Marvel: Agents of Shield fame appears in the film, voicing a character. But the real star is the big, fluffy Everest . . .
Mountains of Fun
A yeti hiding on a roof
who when scared curls into a ball
and tries to hide himself away
but doesn’t get that he’s not small . . .
A fun-filled adventure begins,
our yeti gets named Everest!
And to get him back to his home
will prove to be a tough old test
He soon makes friends, they talk to him,
and finds out why he’s on his own,
Once that he learns he can trust them
he’s grateful that he’s not alone
Getting home is an uphill task
and not a mere game to play
The new found-gang all discover
there’s much danger along the way . . .
Everest deemed a specimen
to be held in captivity
But his friends challenge that dark view,
fighting so Everest stays free!

If you haven’t yet seen Abominable then the holiday season is the perfect time to watch it! Both children and adults alike will have mountains of fun! See you next Friday, readers!
