If there’s such a thing as “blind truth” then surely Dare Devil is the most likely candidate to see it? May The Verse Be With You certainly thinks so. Earlier this week SciFiPulse published Marvel Movies – Pre “MCU”: 5 Most Memorable, a feature on films such as Daredevil (2003). This poem is based on the Ben Affleck version of the character, but easily transposes to other incarnations, too.
Blind Truth
Matt Murdock sees
in his own way —
fights crime by night
and also, day . . .
If you’ve done wrong
then he’ll find out
because of how
his senses shout
Beneath his mask
are pure blue eyes
hidden beneath
his red disguise
His Billy-clubs
bring down his foes
and keep Kingpin
on his toes!
Devil by name,
but not by soul;
Truth’s guardian –
his chosen role

Whilst nothing’s been confirmed (certainly, nothing we could call blind truth . . .), there’s still hope that Charlie Cox the “Netflix” Daredevil may still appear in the MCU. However, even if that isn’t the case it would be criminal not to include the man without fear on any future roster. When the time’s right we hope to see him return. Stay safe, dear readers. See you all next week, for some more fun!
