Fans of Matt Ryan’s Constantine rejoice! He’s returning at last. Ryan is not reprising his short-lived TV role in the medium fans expect, however.
The recent home video release of Batman: The Killing Joke comes with a sneak peek of the upcoming Justice League Dark animated feature. Within that sneak peek is the cast for that movie, which features characters from the darker side of the DC Universe.
John Constantine, as voiced with a wonderfully familiar lilt, is front and center. In the film, Constantine will be teaming up with Batman, Deadman, Zatana, and more. I recently binged Constantine on the CW Seed in the US and got hooked. If we can’t have this character in live-action at present, this animated film is the next best thing.
Justice League Dark comes out this fall.
