Jim Beaver Returning To ‘Supernatural’

Jim Beaver is to make a return as Bobby Singer in a forthcoming episode of the current season.

According to Variety the actor will reprise the role in the April 1 episode, which will premier in CW next Wednesday.

Bobby was last seen in the season nine premiere in 2013.

Beaver first appeared on Supernatural in 2006 and has featured in more than 50 episodes to date. Bobby was killed off a couple of seasons ago and now only appears in spirit form as and when the producers need him to.

The show, which stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Mark A Sheppard, was recently renewed by The CW for an 11th season.

Supernatural airs Wednesdays in the US and on E4 in the UK.
