Synopsis: In order to stop the spread of pure evil, the team must find the Eye of Ra and unravel the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. Flynn must also pass a series of tests that will help him find the eye and reveal a great deal about himself.

Review: This episode pretty much centres for most part on Flynn, but also brings the team tighter together and sows some seeds for the future demise of a team mate, which we are led to believe to be Flynn, but it could well turn out to be someone else entirely.

The story calls on Flynn to come to terms with pretty much all of his insecuritys in order to win the Eye of Ra from a series of elaborate tests set within the Bermuda Triangle, which has a strong tie with ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’.

However much of the fun of this episode is the stuff that leads up to Flynn getting there. I loved the staged argument between Flynn and Eve, which certainly did what it was designed to do, but with some unintended consequences of a few truths slipping from the facade of confidence that Flynn wears.

I also enjoyed the opening few moments of the story in which Eve, Ezekiel, Stone and Cassandra pretty much kidnap Flynn and stage an intervention so they call all vent their issues with him. Of course Ezekiel’s issues were mainly to do with his personality and his own way of doing things. Whereas Cassandra’s issues were more based on her not feeling safe to speak up when she has an idea to contribute.

The episode also includes a little more stuff with regards to DOSA, but again they feel more like nuisance of the week than they do any real threat, but I’m pretty sure that will change soon given how pissed their leader looked by the close of the story.

I also loved that we got a little more about the mythology of the Library and that Flynn gets to meet one of his predecessors.

It will be interesting to see how all of this develops in the remaining weeks.
