Sergeant Kreel and SCAR Squad are on board the Harbinger…and they specialize in taking down rebels

Synopsis: Sergeant Kreel and SCAR Squad are on board the Harbinger…and they specialize in taking down rebels — hard! Can Luke and company make it off the Star Destroyer alive?

Review: The Star Destroyer Harbinger has lost Cannons and Leia is anxious because the maintenance crew she sent down to fix them have mysteriously vanished.

Luke and Sana go and investigate and before they have time to react they are set upon by some of Sargent Kreel’s men.

Just as they are getting to their destination SCAR squad attempt to take the bridge, but Leia has no intention of surrendering the vessel and with Han at the helm and pretty willing to do any crazy manoeuvre he can, which includes playing chicken with two other Star Destroyers. All they need is for the Cannons to be back online.

Meanwhile Luke is locked in an epic lightsaber duel with Kreel who as it turns out trained Luke during his brief stay at Na Shadda.

This issue is an epic battle from pretty much start to finish and we get some great art work from Jorge Molina depicting Lukes battle with Kreel.

Also the build up tension as it begins to dawn on the rebels that they have been boarded is well written by Jason Aaron.

The issue ends on an Epic cliffhanger as Darth Vader joins the battle in his personal Tie Fighter.

I’m looking forward to the next issue to see how this story wraps up.
