Synopsis: Rich moves in with Suri as Harry fights to win back his flat. But something terrible happens when Blake and Eve go after DSI Gray.

Review: Samuel Blake uses Sun Tzu’s ‘The Art Of War’ as the basis for his strategy to take down Harry and his friends and part of that strategy is to make Harry think that his luck is returning, which entails allowing him to win Rich’s house back.

But aside from the house, it looks like Harry’s luck could really be changing as he gets lucky with Gray who has survived two attempts on her life and is no doubt feeling rather emotional at the loss of her driver who took a bomb blast that was meant for her.

Meanwhile Rich and Suri move in together and all seems to be well, but for how long exactly?

The Story

This episode continues the ongoing arc and seems to bring Harry and DSI Gray closer together as the two hatch an elaborate plan to try and capture Blake, but it turns out to be a plan that has some rather expensive consequences for Harry and especially for Rich.

I’ve enjoyed the scenes between Blake and Eve, but have a feeling that Eve isn’t as fully committed to Blake and his plans as she initially was. The next few episodes will likely reveal where that will go.

The closing moments of this episode will shock fans to the core and will have them wondering if a certain person will survive after having been shot.

The question now is how long will Harry’s bracelet give him before taking his life. It is very nearly fully black.

This was a strong episode, which had a somewhat shocking final few moments.

Like many fans. I am looking forward to seeing how all of this unravels as we head towards the closing few episodes of the season.

I must have missed something in a previous episode, how can Harry gamble away his brothers flat when its not legally his? The woman threatened to get the bailiffs involved if he didn’t leave, but how can she if the deeds are in the brothers name?

I don’t think you missed an episode. I think this is one of those instances where you have to fill in the blanks.

In the previous episode, Harry just gambled with his key to his Brothers apartment.

So I think we’re probably meant to assume that the Deed was handed over near the beginning when the women come to the flat without announcing herself and we got the moment where Rich has Harry by the throat. So I’d hazard a guess that it was handed over sometime during that visit when we didn’t see or it was done offscreen while we were wrapped up in the whole Harry and Gray plot.

Why didn’t Eve use the opportunity with the sniper to kill Harry rather than Grey?

And also, can you just remind me why the police want to track down Blake? Understand Harry obviously does due to the bracelet, but why is it in the polices interest? Is it due to the drugs and fraudulent video of Harry killing Isabella?

Eve was supposed to target Gray and she was hovering over Harry for a while, but still has feelings for him, which is my guess based on the fact that she has had a few opportunities to see him off in the last few episodes.

Police want Blake because of the drug operation, the frame up of Harry and the fact that they now have evidence of Blake shooting at a police officer thanks to the sting that went wrong in the previous episode.

You can’t transfer ownership of a flat merely by handing over the deeds and you can’t gamble away somebody else’s property just because you have the keys to it Two police officers not knowing that gambling debts are not enforcible in law?

As said. Whatever arrangements legal or otherwise were most likely done off the screen. There is a point where you have to suspend disbelief to enjoy a show. And seems to me your taking issue with what you could only call a huge leap in creative license from the writers. I do not write the show. But my gut says they probably likely washed over all of the legalities of what you can and cannot do for the sake of getting the story done.

This hasn’t really been the strongest series of Lucky Man anyway.
