Milo Ventimiglia, who got his big break with the role of Peter Petrelli in ‘Heroes’ is to guest star in a forthcoming episode of the Batman prequel series ‘Gotham’.
The actor will be playing the role of Jason Lennon AKA The Ogre. Ventimiglia will make his first appearance on the show in episode 19.
The Ogre, who is not an adaptation of a DC Comics character of the same name, is a debonair ladies’ man who viciously murders young women who cannot meet his standards.
Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is in a race against time to arrest the Ogre before he murders another young woman.
‘Gotham’ will continue to explore the origins of Batman villains throughout its freshman season, including introducing a storyline based around The Joker.
Fox airs the series on Mondays in the US, while Channel 5 has broadcast rights in the UK.
